Delete your Kupa account

1. Open the You tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Tap No, delete my account.
4. Read what will be removed, type DELETE and confirm.

1. Sign in and go to Account settings.
2. At the bottom, open Delete my account.
3. Type DELETE and press Delete my account.

Email privacy@kupa.co.zw from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We check that the request comes from you, then delete the account in the same way the app does and reply to confirm.

• Your name, phone number, profile photo, home location and city.
• Your saved items, saved shops, notifications, notification settings and push notification tokens.
• Your listings and giveaways are taken down, and giveaway requests still waiting are cancelled.
• Any credit on your account.
• Your sign-in is closed, so the account can no longer be used.
• For a shop account: the shop is taken down and its phone and payout number are removed.

• Records of past orders and payments, without your name on them. Shops need them for their accounts and tax, and we need them for refunds, disputes and fraud checks.
• Messages and reviews you wrote stay where they are, shown as from “Deleted user”.
• A note that the account was deleted, and when, in our internal audit log.

Deletion waits until nothing is still in progress. Collect or cancel any open order, finish or cancel any giveaway handover, and if you run a shop, finish its open orders and pay out its earnings first. The app and the website tell you if anything is in the way.

Only need a break? Pausing your account (Pause account in the app, Take a break on the website) hides your listings and giveaways and stops push notifications. You can come back any time.
